Trend Continuation Masterclass

A six-week live cohort for traders who want a disciplined process for entering and managing positions during strong directional moves.

Who this is for

Independent traders with at least six months of chart experience who already understand basic candlestick reading and support/resistance. You may trade FX, indices, commodities, or large-cap equities — the continuation framework applies across liquid markets with clear trending behaviour.

This programme is not suited to complete beginners or traders seeking signal services. You will mark your own charts, submit weekly assignments, and receive direct feedback on your continuation entries.

What you will learn

  • Defining trend phase: early impulse, mature trend, and exhaustion
  • Classifying pullbacks by depth, duration, and volume behaviour
  • Continuation patterns: flags, pennants, channels, and shallow retracements
  • Entry timing when structure confirms trend resumption
  • Stop placement relative to invalidation structure, not arbitrary percentages
  • Position management through partial exits and trailing during extended trends

Six-week schedule

Each week includes one ninety-minute live session (recorded), one chart assignment, and written feedback within five working days.

  1. Week 1 — Trend definition and impulse legs. Map swing structure, identify dominant direction, and distinguish trending from ranging conditions on daily and four-hour charts.
  2. Week 2 — Pullback taxonomy. Classify retracements by depth and character. Learn which pullback types offer continuation potential in strong trends versus those signalling exhaustion.
  3. Week 3 — Continuation patterns. Flags, pennants, and channel boundaries. Mark up historical examples from trending periods in FX and indices.
  4. Week 4 — Entry and invalidation. Define precise entry triggers, stop levels tied to structure, and the conditions that invalidate a continuation thesis.
  5. Week 5 — Position management. Scaling in at retests, partial profit targets, and trailing stops during extended directional moves.
  6. Week 6 — Live market application. Group review of current trending instruments. Each participant presents one continuation setup for class discussion.
